WHAT IS THE CROSS CAMPAIGN?
The Cross campaign is a vision of Rev. Yomi Kasali with the primary aim of preventing the extinction of the emblem of the cross; which he sees as his contribution to the body of Christ. It was borne out of the need to revive the potency of the cross by pushing, advocating and propagating the emblem of the cross as the essence of our Christian faith irrespective of our denomination. THE CAMPAIGN IS IN THREE PHASES; THE MEDIA CAMPAIGN, THE CROSS CONCERT & THE CROSS DAY

THIS IS AN EIGHT (8) WEEKS MEDIA CAMPAIGN TARGETED AT REAWAKENING THE CONCIOUSNESS OF BELIEVERS TO WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CROSS AND WHY THEY LOVE THE CROSS; AT THE CROSS, OUR PAIN WAS CHANGED TO JOY, SADNESS TO GLADNESS, SICKNESS TO HEALING, DEATH TO LIFE, HOPELESS TO HOPEFULL, MOURNING TO DANCING ETC. THAT IS WHAT THE CROSS GAVE US; LIFE AND HOPE.
THIS IS A ONE DAY CONCERT AIMED AT CELEBRATING WHAT THE CROSS BROUGHT US; THE CONQERING OF DEATH. THIS USUALLY TAKES PLACE ON THE EVENING OF EASTER SUNDAY. SEASONED PSALMISTS ARE BROUGHT TO LEAD PEOPLE TO PRAISES AS THEY REJOICE OVER THE NEW LIFE THEY HAVE NOW BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED ON THE CROSS AND TO ALSO BRING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE INTO THE COVENANT BLESSING OF THE CROSS THAT ALL CHRISTIANS ENJOY.
IN TODAY’S WORLD WE HAVE SO MANY RELIGION THRIVING AND WE HAVE THEIR FOLLOWERS BOLDLY REPRESENT THESE RELIGION BY ADORNING THEMSELVES WITH THE EMBLEM OF THEIR RELIGION. WHAT THE CROSS DAY AIMS TO ACHIEVE IS TO MOTIVATE CHRISTIANS ALL OVER TO PROUDLY WEAR THE EMBLEM OF THE CROSS ON THE FIRST WORKING DAY AFTER THE EASTER HOLIDAYS TO THEIR PLACE OF WORK, SCHOOL, MARKET, MALL, ANYWHERE THEY WISH TO GO TO BOLDLY EXPRESS THEIR BELEIEF AND FAITH TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. THE AIM IS TO DISCTRIBUTE FOR FREE OVER 1,000,000 CROSSES AND HAVE OVER 5,000,000 PEOPLE GLOBALLY BOLDLY WEAR THE CROSS ON THE CROSS DAY.
He intends to achieve this through;
OVER THE YEARS, I HAVE SEEN NATIONS WHO IN TIME PAST HAVE BEEN SYMBOLIZED WITH THE CROSS ON THE NATIONAL FLAG BEGIN TO TAKE IT OFF, CHURCHES NO LONGER HAVE IT ON THEIR BUILDING STRUCTURES, CHRISTIANS NO LONGER WEAR IT, PASTORS ARE ASHAMED OF BOLDLY WEARING THE CROSS ON A DAILY BASIS; IT WAS BECOMING EXTINCT. THEN I REMEBERED THE POTENCY OF THE CROSS IN THE STORY OF CONSTANTINE; HOW BE BECAME A WESTERN ROMAN EMPEROR BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN THE POWER OF THE CROSS. THAT WAS WHEN GOD GAVE ME THE VISION TO START THE CROSS CAMPAIGN; AN AWARENESS AIMED AT RESUSCITATING THE EMBLEM OF THE CROSS IN THE LIVES OF CHRISTIANS ALL BECAUSE IT IS THE ESSENCE OF OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH
